Anyone in or around CT that knows where I can get a 1938(ish) Bulova looked at? I think I am having a little issue with the hairspring, but without any professional knowledge, it's just a guess.

Thanks,
Dick

I think you can probably just take it to your usual local watchmaker.

Hello, and welcome to the forum!
Try this search to find an AWCI (American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute) professional near you specializing in vintage watches. You may also try the NAWCC (National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors) search page. Depending on where you are, you may have to call around to find a watchmaker that is comfortable working on vintage watches, but don't be afraid to use a watchmaker that accepts watches by mail only. Search this forum for nationwide recommendations.

right back at ya there Dick. I'm also in CT and got a box full of these old bulovas. Let me know where you're located and I can help as well.
