Hello all members and experts

Please share your options on the sea master. I did my research, still willing to listen some more advise.
Thanks

Welcome......

How did/do you evaluate this particular watch?

What parts are original or not? and WHY?

After studying 100's and hundred's of original Seamaster 300 pictures here on this Forum, with the associated 1000's of comments on those watches, how did you judge your example in comparison? Better/worse/same?

A bit of effort will be rewarded

Seems original to me.
The lume is dark because of it’s age and most probably due to some moist.

Thank you, I thought the same. The lume on hour hand is poor, that due to its age?

Looks original/correct but tired.

You really will get more responses if you share your views (and the price) even if you’re a novice.

Thank you David. What do you mean by "tired"? Sorry I am really at beganer level. All I did was read the SM300 NET site and compaired with the example pictures. I felt everything on this watch is correct. Thats way I d like to hear from experienced members.

The more pristine the higher the premium, although all sorts of tricks of the trade are often employed to enhance/disguise long-in-the-tooth examples.
It usually correlates that the more lackluster the less valuable (unless something special, military or the like); is it something you're about to purchase?

Its not just about being correct, the best vintage watches are also attractive and in good condition.

In my opinion, this one has the correct parts and appears original but it’s not in good condition, it isn’t attractive to me. The parts are dull and seem worn out.

Well worn example, with some moist lume discoloration/damage, the serial number seems correct for SM300 and is a FEB/MAR 1967 watch, that fits HF as case manufacturer also. The bezel is a B4, which I`d expect on later example, should be the B3 flat 1 bezel. But can be....
If the price is right and you like it, go on.

Niad crown yes, but that looks that doesn't look like a Niad?
