While again developing from a completing collector to a collector having fun I'm selling a few watches I virtually do not wear.

This is a Zenith El Primero chronograph, ref. G383. Around 1970 200 pieces were made from this model with two different dial executions. Very few survived in such an excellent condition.

The case with the characteristic strap attachments on top measures 40mm diameter.

The movement, an early Zenith El Primero cal. 3019 PHC, is running strong and is working like it should. The chronograph operates smoothly and correctly.

This piece comes with an original vintage strap and buckle, both signed Zenith.

The watch is located in Germany/EC. I'm inviting offers around € 10,000, payment by wire transfer, no Paypal.

    Cheers,

    Mick

Very nice watch GLWTS, MMMD just got one recently, if I haven't spent my Budget on a car I would have snatched this. Also for my educational purpose, when u say there are two version of dials, is it the applied markers that distinguish the different version. MMMD watch and yours seem to differ under that aspect. In any event I wish I didn't have to buy a car :p

    Thanks.
Yes. A more apparent difference is the printing of the segment around the 30 minutes counter. On my watch the three black 5 minutes areas extend into the register to embrace the minute marks.

Before buying the watch years ago I researched these differences. Both Rössler books show only this version of the dial, also on a ref. G20801 with integrated bracelet.
I sincerely feel with you as I like cars, too ;)

    Cheers,

    Mick

Me too. My Pepsi has consumed my remaining 2016 funds. I adore this watch.
