Both i'm in love with vintage Longines and with the Omega Speedsonic my father bought in the mid Seventies (see my avatar picture). Now I have the opportunity to buy from a friend who knows my sweet teeth something that unifies both passions: a Longines Ultronic Chronograph, it is NOS. I know that from 21.000 movements ever made 12.000 were for Omega Speedsonic (in all the variants) and barely 3.000 for Longines and that the price of Longines was significantly higher.
My friends wants to have my offer for this watch. I want this watch badly. How much should I offer? I think that will never find another NOS again.
Please let me know your opinion.

how good of a friend? I'd establish market value and cut by 10% for a F&F discount...

Not so good, he is a fellow watch collector, but it's vitual friendship, never met in person. Your idea is good, but is there a market value for this watch brand new?

based on limited research, i think you'll end up around $1750 - if its truly NOS and all original, box/papers. I'd start at offering $1600 if i REALLY wanted it (which, now i do!). Great watch tons of character.

He now asked me 1.500 euros. Is it a correct price? I noticed that no other watch on the internet has this bracelet... is the right one?

Not sure, nor am I a source for this info - but happy to try and help! I haven't seen one with your band, only like the below.

This thread is pretty interesting as well w/ a price to compare to: https://omegaforums.net/threads/lon...g-fork-chronograph-circa-1975-serviced.45419/

I wrote to Longines and they replied me that they "unfortunately don't have the exact info on the original bracelet"...

Only thing to do now is ask about the bracelet; share some doubt to the seller - and try to get the price down a bit? I still love it!

The bracelet looks like the one that came on the non-chrono Ultronics, at least from the examples I've seen.

That's interesting. The seller says it's new from a jewellery old stock, but it looks strange to me not haveing the only one bracelet I see in each and every photo on the internet... This is the bracelet. 51786713_783887315323008_3176042635089412096_n.jpg 52071488_393764901190235_5014461188088528896_n.jpg 51902604_560057977804795_5347935930852311040_n.jpg

Sorry for the late reply but I've only just seen this thread, did you buy it in the end?

With regards to the bracelet as far as I'm aware there were two bracelets for this watch, the vast majority have the one shared above, but there was also a narrower bar bracelet which I have on mine(purchased from France). I've only seen a handful with my bracelet and never with something completely different such as your friends, my feeling is this is from another model but who can say with certainty save possibly Longines themselves.

Here is mine which is currently away being serviced and awaiting a new glass to be cut. I think they're truly special watches and absolutely love the design, 70's at it's best....

    Mine was from 1976.

I just found this thread. Hoping to find experts that can probably help me…

I am a newbie on this forum. Since 2006 I own a Longines Ultronic Chronograph from 1976 (same as the one “Tet” has as I have seen from his post :). Unfortunately, last week, while wearing it, one of the chronograph buttons fell off – without me noticing it. I was really shocked, when I realized this. I did not bump into something that day. The must “brutal” movement may have been closing the door of my car… so, to all of you who own that same model, be aware.

I spent hours looking for that piece, but was unable to find it. As you see on the picture it really ruins the watch, because it is so obvious that something is missing… With these types of rare models, I know that it will be almost impossible to find this particular piece. Does any of you have an idea?? Thanks!
