IMO you have an older fake. The case is not an Omega case and the dial is refinished so there is no way to know where its from. The movement looks like a cheap movement that had the Omega engraving added. Is there any marking under the balance wheel?

It might be a recased pocketwatch movement. Looks like a 12''' S 7-16 p to me.

    Definitely a poor redial.

Movement is real Omega, just from a ladies pocketwatch. Dates from around 1913.

It's similar to the above, just a bit smaller in size. Probably a 15''' to 16'''.

D - 12''' is way too small for a 39mm case like that.

Case is a replacement. Dial is a redial.

All together, it screams Ukrainian Frankenmeister.

I agree that the caliber is original Omega, and has been recased and redialed with non Omega parts. Movement was probably taken in a pocket watch because wristwatches from that period were much smaller (35mm) and in 1913 the men's wristwatches production was very confidential.

It could be an older recasing and not a modern Ukrainian franken (ukrainian guys usually put brand new / newly repainted dials and don't take the time to look for older ones. They also put big cathedral luninescent hands).

However, my comment is just for the sake of discussion, the case, dial and probably hands are not Omega and the date of recasing and redialing does not change anything to the fact that this is worth only a pocket watch caliber for spares.

+1. At least I notice eBay has kindly put "From Ukraine" in the listings, as if we couldn't firgure out the location with one glance.

Really doesn't fit the usual pattern. Many of these smaller pocket watches were re-cased in period when wrist wristwatches became fashionable.
