Respectable Members Surprisingly, this pink gold Rolex Day-Date is so expensive. Is it because of its dial or what? http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-ROL...814233928?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item43b5e10d48Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Thank-you.
That, or some fishy bidding is going on. But the dial is very unusual, and the case looks very sharp. It even has the PG President bracelet which is pricey just by itself.
Respectable Member kyle L Obviously the dial is indeed uncommon and furthermore it is in pink gold. Pink gold is usually considered highly desirable. However, I do not understand as to why the President bracelet of that era is pricey, since quality-wise it is nowhere close to that produced by Omega. That Rolex bracelet links are all hollow all the way, while Omega's is real solid stuff. Thank-you.
Actually it's the strap. Leather made from the skin of the rare melanistic Joisey Squirrel. Only five straps were ever made.
Duh!, I almost forgot you had those, then I remembered you went up North to visit Trev. Still workin' pretty good for ya, eh?
