Very early execution of the TriCompax

    I picked this up locally not too long ago, I thought I'd post it and see what you all think of it.

    The serial number is 959210(1942-43) which pre dates when most books say the TriCompax was actually launched( in 1944). The discs are in German, which is a little less seen. There is no dash between Tri and Compax, in fact its written as one word "TRICOMPAX". The 4 lume dots look redone at some point in history but don't glow but the numbers and hour hand look like the original lume. The minute hand is broken. Other than that the case is in very good shape, the pushers look all original.

    I think its a fantastic example, do you think the pushers are original (the ones for the dates & moonphase)

    These pushers are original for the very early Tri-Compaxes. OP's example is probably one of the first ones ever made. Beautiful watch! If you are going to wear it, I would make sure that the clearance isn't an issue to avoid further damage to the hands (the tubes could be worn)
