·For sale or trade is a very nice, original stainless steel Longines Flagship 3108 date-at-12 reference with an automatic 341 movement dating to 1965. The original brushed silver dial is very clean, and the enamel on the case back is nearly fully intact. It comes with the original box and papers as well. The movement runs, winds, and sets well, but the service history is unknown so a service is recommended prior to regular use.
Additional details are below, including the history received from the Longines brand heritage department. Feel free to reach out with any questions.
Dial: Original brushed silver dial is very clean with no noticeable blemishes (marks visible in photos are on the crystal, not the dial). Yellow gold markers and hands are in nice condition as well. Radium lume is fully intact on both the dial and the hands and has maintained a nice color. "Swiss Made" is present below the 6 marker as expected.
Crystal: Original crystal with cyclops magnifier at 12 has some light scratches that should buff out.
Case: Original 35mm 3108-4 reference case is in very nice condition. There are small scratches from regular use, the most notable of which is a scratch on the case back from someone improperly opening it. The case appears unpolished. The enamel inlay Flagship logo on the case back is in very nice condition. As you may or may not know, it is very difficult to find an example with enamel in this condition.
Crown: Original signed crown.
Movement: 341 caliber movement is clean. Watch runs, winds, and sets well. Service history is unknown so a service is recommended prior to use. The watch was invoiced in 1965 (movement produced a bit earlier of course).
Box/Papers: Original box/papers that were sold with the watch. Box has some marks on the outside.
Strap: Generic brown leather strap with a stainless steel buckle (not the one pictured).
Price is $1,100. Open to trades for non-radium 50s or early 60s Seamasters/Constellations/Conquests/Flagships (see my WTB/WTT here).
I'll cover insured US shipping, international shipping to be discussed with buyer. OF seller reviews are here. Returns are accepted if watch is grossly misrepresented. Watch is located in Seattle, WA, USA.
