Up for sale is a very nice and uncommon Hamilton Estoril Chronometer. The dial features "Chronometer" text, which is not present on the vast majority of these Estorils. I don't know the history on why some were printed with the Chronometer text, but presumably it was some indication of high accuracy (please DM me if you have more info). The dial is in very nice condition with only very minor blemishes. The case is also very nice and unpolished with a very nice logo on the case back. The movement runs, winds, and sets well, but service history is unknown. FYI, "Estoril" is a coastal city in Portal that apparently had a big diving presence in the 1960s. Please see below for more details, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Dial: The original dial is in very nice condition but is not perfect - there are some minor blemishes, the most noticeable of which is just above center. As noted above, the dial is marked with the "Chronometer" text. The tritium lume is intact on the dial markers (hidden on the outside edge, hard to see) and the hands. Case: Original 35mm 64003-3 reference case is in very nice condition with no significant wear, and it appears to be unpolished with sharp bevels on the lugs and a nice and sharp caseback logo. Note there is a caseback sticker on it in the photos, so the caseback engraving is even sharper than it appears. Crown: Original signed crown. Crystal: Crystal is free of scratches, unsure if it's the original crystal or not. Movement: Original 64A (ETA 2452 base) caliber movement runs, winds, and sets well, but service history is unknown. Date changes over fine. Strap: Comes on the 17mm DeBeer brown leather strap pictured. Price is $599. I'll cover insured US shipping, international shipping is available but cost to be discussed with the buyer. Bank transfer or PayPal goods and services are okay for payment (you cover fees for PP). OF seller reviews are here. Returns are accepted if watch is grossly misrepresented. Watch is located in the USA.
