The watch looks perfectly genuine. It does have two issues though.
1. The case has been severely overpolished
2. I think it鈥檚 quite expensive for a manual wind DeVille with an overpolished 18ct case

Hi, I'm still hunting for a vintage Omega. This time I managed to find a ref. 166.001. The price is around 2,700 USD. Below are the pictures.

What do you think about it? The pictures are not very high quality, the seller is a collector of Omega watches

Case is quite damaged for that price imo. You are better off finding something NOS-like at that price.

I think the case and dial are nice. Overall it鈥檚 a nice watch imo. However, I think it鈥檚 quite expensive.

It seems that there is a lot of interest in gold, gold-filled, etc. Omega sport models among new members recently. Quite unusual.

Gold-filled versions are cheaper vs steel, solid gold watches are also an investment in metal.. That could be why.
