Hi All, Up for sale is the oldest member of my collection. I think I've had this watch for 6 years now, but its fallen out of my rotation so passing it along to someone who will appreciate it. This is a Venus Marinetimer vintage diver. I don't know much about this watch other than the fact Venus was a major movement producer in the past. They also produced a handfull of their oen watches with the Marinetimer being their diver. I have not seen many of this model out on the internet, but a very nice diver nonetheless. The Good - This watch has an attractive grey/blue faded insert and beautifully patina'd markers that have turned a warm yellow. Case does not appear polished and automatic movement keeping good time. Hands appear original and dial is in great shape. The Bad - It is missing its original crown and marks on the caseback where someone had some issues opening it. Serial is still visible on the caseback as seen in last photo though not sure how to date it. Comes with an unsigned expansion rivet bracelet. This bracelet was attached to the watch when I purchased it though I am guessing it is a replacement, but still looks nice. I have had some issues with the clasp staying closed so I usually wear this on a strap, but thought I would include the bracelet as it was what it came on when I bought it. The watch is 36mm in size and has a nice wrist presence due go the chunkiness of the case. I'm asking $400 USD for this piece. Paypal an option if buyer is ok covering fees.
