Taking about a week in Vancouver for vacation in early August? Any vintage/preowned shops that might be worth checking out?

I am under the impression that Otto Friedl (Otto is now deceased, but the business AFAIK is still there), carries vintage watches. They were long time an official service centre for many prestige watch brands, and have a notable record for watch repairs. Maybe worth a try. Check out the Gastown Steam Clock. It is located in Gastown.
