Apparently Matt Damon wore this at the Oscars. Six planets on the dial orbit the sun IN REAL TIME. To be clear, Saturn will go around the dial once every 29 YEARS. I find this mind-boggling.

Theres only 6 planets so you'll have to wait for the LE version to get Uranus on a watch dial. ;) Still a little funny though. :p

Considering service requirements several times in that time period, will it actually ever go around the dial one full revolution uninterrupted? I doubt it.

Oh, and someone will complain that Saturn is running fast by a few seconds per day, and ask if that's in spec. Mark my words!

The same could be said about the extra-sophisticated perpetual calendars that last however many hundreds of years without correction. Or the moonphases accurate to like... 100 years.

I always think the same thing when they say that kind of stuff.

    It is extraordinary.
But glad it is an automatic.
Restarting those planetary orbits could get tricky.

All in all, it is a beautiful mechanical time piece. I really like the materials, colors and the overal design that they used for the face (dial, planets. etc).

Funny I just saw it advertised today in an advertising supplement of a big newspaper. No price mentioned (not surprising though).
