I'm doing a stall for the first time. I'm selling some watches from my own collection and my friend has some stock including straps and dials/bezels, he's also bringing some watches. It would be great to meet any forum members who have some spare time on this Sunday morning. I'll look forward to meeting anyone who comes.
Gaz, normally id come in and say hi - however I'm helping a friend do a 24 hour solo bike ride on the sixth, so not sure what shape ill be in (lack of sleep rather than physical effort). Assuming we make it in, how do we know which stand is yours? Will you be wearing a carnation?
That's a pity I'm not back in the UK until mid October. Only been to one watch fair, near Birmingham a few years ago. Was amazed at the variety and amid the dodgy deals there were some real gems. As I'm sure all your pieces are Gaz !!
Love to come, alas I'm in Philadelphia, PA. I may be in the market for some links for an 1171 strap however, if you have them. Best of luck! -Max
I'll be wearing a Harley t-shirt. I've got some decent stock, Big blue, US army 300 seamaster, Tudor snowflake maybe a speedy or two I'm still a little undecided. I do have a few others I'm thinking of including as well. The guy I'm going with is my local Omega AD and he's bringing some of his used watches as well as straps, dials etc.
I was intending to come over, but a lack of funds and late notice that the in-laws are descending on us for lunch have put paid to that. Good luck !
Just got back. Sold my US Army Seamaster 300, so quite pleased. Still got others that need rehomeing so may try the December watch fair. Nice to meet you Mothra.
I spoke to you but didn't realise it was you! I was looking at the ed white! And asking about parts...
I know you'll be pleased with it, I sold it with a heavy heart as it just wasn't getting any wrist time. Glad it went to a forum member.
