This one has to take the cake:

I am at a computer where I can't post pictures at the moment, so have a look at the advert and tell me...

How many correct parts do you see? By far the most heavily abused, worst put-together I have ever seen ::puke::

It might just have been my imagination, but the angle of the lugs (could just be the perspective...) and the lack of facets made me consider it could have been a fake. They aren't usually that polished, however. The wrong replacement parts in the movement is another reason to stay clear, no matter if it really is a fake or not.

EDIT: on consideration, I don't think it has a fake case. It's just crap.

From Desmond's blog, I understood that not all the variations of the dog-lug cases, have the same facetting underneath.
I was actually more looking at the lugs and how they are (too?) squarly attached to the case. Let's say: 'cut off too early' and therefore protruding too much.
    Minefield.....
    But whatever: ugly.

    Edit: found it

    Well, not sure I agree...

I think what makes this particular specimen really "speshul" is the caseback. It's the wrong sort of Constellation caseback, with the wrong sort of medallion - AND it has the ref. no. from a Seamaster! That has to be worth something :D

The movement is completely wrong for the watch as well!

Another thing I had looked at, too. In this case (!), it may have been polished too much to discern.
