The First Class Parcel is on its way from the USA to Switzerland. According to tracking it shows up in Poland being "in transit".

- Swiss Post is telling me "this is very unusual"

- USPS is telling the sender "it is not unusual"

I am a little confused, now.

Are there some shipping cracks or pros, who do have deeper knowledge than me?

It all depends upon the distribution center locations and if your package ended up on a plane that had a bunch of stuff going to that region. It's all about logistics!

 

Just a few days ago I had a Swiss post package (So, EMS) posted to me in the US and it went through Belgium. I hope there are some members that had have their stuff go through Poland and have no problems, but in my case it went through Belgium.

 

I’m waiting on a package that was last seen leaving Malta a week ago. Perhaps it’s in a bottle floating west through the Mediterranean. The important thing is that (almost) everything eventually shows up.

 

Never had one pass through Poland, but did have an experience shipping directly to Poland. Couldn't receive any information about the whereabouts of the package and thought it was lost/stolen. After refunding the customer, the watch shipped back months later.

Hopefully everyone else will have a better experience.

The parcel has arrived today with some days delay, but in fine condition.
