I can't be absolutely certain, but it looks to me like there are a couple of trouble spots with the watch. Omega doesn't put the word "chronometer" on the dial of the quartz version of the Seamaster Diver. Also, the font for "Omega" looks wrong, as well as (possibly) the font for "Seamaster". The watch may be a fake.

Now that the pictures are posted, I agree the watch looks suspicious. A quartz Seamaster should definitely NOT saw chronometer. Also, I believe the red "Seamaster" script should be under the Omega, not on the bottom of the dial. Finally, there's really no reason that a bezel from 2008 should be stuck unless the watch was abused ... or is a fake.

I think since this watch was mis-advertised to begin with you should send it back and ask for a full refund!

A thought: Is there a serial number? It should be eight digits, engraved on the back of the lower left lug. If so, send a PM with the number to @Archer. He should be able to look it up to see if it's genuine or not.

I can certainly verify what reference the serial number relates to.

Ok Knew, where this one was, didn't buy it a few weeks ago because it was quartz and they wanted 1400 for it b4 Christmas but today 1k got it it's clean my jeweler said it all checks out. have a link to the bracelet so it fits me. had this bond freaking bracelet and really wanted something other than blue however since its quartz its a wearer and don't expect it to appreciate any so... no biggy and it looks great not a scratch on it. And if anyone ever see's it at 1000 feet under water it will be attached to my dead arm after my wife shoves me overboard on a cruise
