·I can't be absolutely certain, but it looks to me like there are a couple of trouble spots with the watch. Omega doesn't put the word "chronometer" on the dial of the quartz version of the Seamaster Diver. Also, the font for "Omega" looks wrong, as well as (possibly) the font for "Seamaster". The watch may be a fake.
Now that the pictures are posted, I agree the watch looks suspicious. A quartz Seamaster should definitely NOT saw chronometer. Also, I believe the red "Seamaster" script should be under the Omega, not on the bottom of the dial. Finally, there's really no reason that a bezel from 2008 should be stuck unless the watch was abused ... or is a fake.
I think since this watch was mis-advertised to begin with you should send it back and ask for a full refund!
