·Hi all!
Thank you to all who commented and gave recommendations on my post yesterday. I am going to go with Tanner Morehouse's shop (https://tmwatchco.com/) in North Dakota.
Tanner called me personally to talk about what my goals are for the repair/service and sent over an insured shipping label right away.
Original post:
Was passed down (what I believe is) a 1962 Seamaster 300 CK 14755 with original bracelet.
Looking to get it properly identified, appraised, repaired, serviced, and cleaned a little. The original bezel has a crack around 10 and is slightly detached. I understand, and agree, that the goal with a watch like this is to keep everything as original as possible.
I've done some preliminary research and am leaning toward either Tim Mackrain (OmegaAddict) or Nesbit's. Price isn't really a significant factor, I mostly just want it to be done right.
Any suggestions/tips/2 cents otherwise? I've only ever worn Timex, Casio, and Seiko before being given this.
