I think that’s a fair point. I was simply trying to distinguish between someone who makes a poor attempt at an apology and someone who doubles down on an offensive comment and makes things worse. We’ve had plenty of those. All that said, I too was offended by the post/photo and not because I’m Jewish (I’m not), but because anything having to do with a passing interest in something with a swastika is morally reprehensible and has no place on any forum, public or private.
