    Hi,
a friend of mine (watch seller) found this shop remnant.
The engraved dial is very unusual but it looks original.
I have checked Omega 1970s brochures but I didn’t find this watch.
Tomorrow morning I’ll open the case back and I’ll check the reference and post pics of the movement (the reference should be 166.111).
In the meantime would you help me to identify this particular Seamaster?
Maybe a particular model for italian market?

    Thanks.

very cool. I see what appears to be metal stain on back. Has this been there? possible was applied with intend for more custom engraving or polishing?

They shipped with a blueish coating on the back in that period to protect the watch.

I agree with @habrisbane, the watch is stunning :)
Ive never seen anything like that dial, but this has to be a custom job?
If you look at the stars they look kinda crude and uneven. It would suprise me if Omega produced anything that looks like that.

    Updating: reference 166.089, caliber 752.
Yes, I agree with you, stars look crude and uneven but the writing font is perfect (Omega, automatic, Seamaster).
Too perfect to be a redial watch.
There is another one on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/OMEGA-SEAM...S-DIAL-39mm-STEEL-VINTAGE-WATCH-/182823955322Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
