Unloved Constellation

Being off holiday this week from work im all ready bored so decided to trawl the internet


Found this constellation for sale locally less than 4 miles away.


Contaced the seller and went to look at it this afternoon

Was given to the seller by his uncle about 15 years ago who purchased the watch new. The seller wore it for a few years then got a "better watch" from what I saw was a quartz so its been sat in a drawer for the last 10 years unloved with other junk.

As you can see the rotor is rubbing on the case

Its obvious when the uncle had it he looked after it as there is several service marks in the case back.

Now to get around the wife to explain spending another few hundred quid on a watch 😀

quick clean and polywatch on the crystal (marks still on crystal)

small blemish above the 9 o'clock marker on dial

how did you get rid of the dirt between crystal and case pic 4+5?
Did you dissamble the watch?
