Hi guys. Today a visit a watchmaker, not my friend, who claimed he has a very rare UG with alarm. Never heard an UG with alarm before. He wants to sell me the watch. First I thought it was fake, but when I opened the backcase, the moviment was signed. Could you guys please help me to figured it out what is going on? Is fake? The watch is not working, it's missing the alarm hand and second. Thx. LG

Definitely original in my opinion.

I hadn’t seen one before either until a rose gold plated one popped up on Instagram recently. That had ref 43101/1 and so it makes absolute sense that this steel example would be a 23101/1.

I’m travelling but I’m sure someone will be able to post a photo.

@Mazoue is absolutely correct. It was posted by Dandywatchman on Instagram. Photo below from his feed, and yes, 43101/1. UG signed Vulcan cricket caliber. I believe Eric Wind also had one for sale a couple of years ago.

Quite extraordinary how two of these pop up in such a short time frame, considering how rare they are.
