1. "U" logo is crooked.
2. "Polerouter" font is very heavy and rough compared to other examples shown.
3. Look at where cross-hatch meets the lume pip at 6 o'clock. There is a secondary hash mark there.
Universal did not have the greatest QC on their dials, but it was much better than that.

I’m in love with this dial. But is the price tag insane? I saw one a few years back went for 3,500 in similar condition. Has anyone else seen one come up for sale before?
Not a bargain by any means at $1245 OBO, but I haven't seen this black dial variant of my 206514 hobnail dial. The case has some flaws but the dial appears to be in excellent shape, though I'm not sure if it's original? And my silver dial one for comparison.

Is there anyone with a Drouot subscription who is able to confirm the hammer prices at tonight's 'Collector's watches' sale at Aguttes this evening for Lots 1 (Polerouter Super) and 8 and 21 (two remarkably similar watches - Lot 8 pictured below)?
I was sure I had left commission bids but I can't find any evidence of that - probably for the best.
