I saw that dial and thought, "that's a very good, affordable Evil Clapton alternative". I think the hands are correct too. The 22297 came with both types. Below images for comparison of other standard, white dial 22297's.

(Also surprised this hasn't been snagged up yet):

22297 from Analog Shift with the same hands as Bachman specimen:

22297 from Matthew Bain with different, more common hour/minutes hands

Thank you both for clarifying this. I hope it gets bought before I take a financially unwise decision 😁

EDIT: the watch is reserved. My wallet is spared (for now)

very cool. Fits the HPC serial crossover pattern. If anyone wants to resurrect, here's another example, running a cal 129. (Not sure if the hands are all original or not on this one).

Thanks for sharing. Found a cal 129 to go with the case with the same hands fitted to it. So, resurrection nearly complete 😉

This is a stunning example of the Polerouter Broad Arrow, soon to be available at auction. The condition is absolutely superb!

I wouldn’t say the condition is absolutely superb when there are not even any photos of the movement and while Sothebys does say “The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing” they also say:

“Additional Notices & Disclaimers. Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of time and may need a service at the buyer's expense. Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement and we do not guarantee the authenticity of any individual component parts since subsequent repairs and restoration work may have resulted in the replacement of original parts.”

So in other words, it runs. Who knows what kind of condition the movement is in.
