Hairspring wonders if the dial has been restored.
I’d say not restored, although the circle around the date makes me hesitate.
What do you guys think?

The dial looks to be in excellent condition. I understand your concern. I don't think it is original to the watch. However, the dial looks and is original. It ticks all the boxes of a later e-issue. see sala page 361 ref 22279 and 22283

dial looks great. I don’t understand what they mean by the terms “restoration”. Perhaps they mean cleaning, not reprinting? Anyhow I think the comment is unjustified. Can’t date the case because serial is blurred.

someone has spent a long time black polishing each part of that movement. It must have taken a very long time ... That is what they mean with restoration. It looks spectacular !

Thats the swiss patent number, reference is probably a 522101 at a guess? (14k, HON US market)
