It's crazy how often the pushers are replaced on these spillman cases. I wonder if it was a bad design or something?

Perhaps these watches actually were used for tough duty.

It is the old Martel denomination of the 481 Universal Geneve caliber (14,5''')

have we ever seen any of these in the metal ?

Movement serial 170.320. The ebay one is 170.505. One may assume that that indicates something but I have a record for 170.423 which was a 146 ;-)
Nothing else to found on the interwebs at first glance. Rossler does not mention cal. 142 (as far as I could see)...

I don't read Arabic but OCR suggests this has the name of a Saudi king on the dial - Khalid bin Abdul Aziz.

Do we think this might have been a personal watch or a presentation piece? The date links it to when he was Crown Prince and from what I can deduce the script just has his name without any royal title
