it is 31mm without crown: Citation: "Case made of ENVERSTEEL numbered 707880-6247 With inner dust DIAMETER without crown is 31 mm ca with huge crown. Dial in KM, has a nice patina and the glass is clear."
Interesting that Sala says " No examples of reference numbers starting with the number 6 have been found, or any sources attesting to any such existence."
My interpretation of Sala's sentence is that it refers to the five digits references numbers as the four digits have no system. On page 163, he shows reference 6346...

...and FYI, it’s not a 12253 It’s actually 52202 - ref # and case number are inside the case back, as it’s 14k.
Popped up on eBay briefly last weekend. Terrible pictures, and very little info, so was bidding with fingers crossed....
Here was the auction, I put in a low bid due to the ridiculous pictures, congrats on winning! https://www.ebay.com/itm/18k-Univer...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
It wasn't really an "auction", it was a fixed price w/ offers. I put in an offer of $4500 due to various issues with the listing and was very sorry to miss this one, it's really beautiful. Congrats to the buyer, it's a great dial and blue moon face disc !
