Here's the latest franken "UG"Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network on the 'bay. It's got everything you could possibly want in a watch, including: - Dual tachometer/tachymetre scales - Lots of caseback numbers
Does anyone know the reference of this watch? And do any red flags stand out? The thing that concerns me is the GOBBI, the MILANO and the AUTOMATIC not being exactly cut in half by the vertical line. And communication with the seller has been...challenging http://www.chrono24.es/universalgen...obbi-milano-classic--automatic--id5338297.htm
I don't have any insight on the watch itself, but remember: buy the seller. If you can't communicate with them well, don't trust them with your money.
Excellent advice- Based on some posts on the Rolexforum, the seller appears elgit- but uncommunicative and morose
A "put-together" as they say in the car biz ... ? Looks like one of the fake gen2 space compax cases. Movement is a v72 / cal 85 (or has a fake bridge?) Dial / Hands / Pushers / Crown ... ?????? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-UNI...468212?hash=item3ad66b6f34:g:EmwAAOSwjDZYaR3jPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Couldn't resist not sharing this terrible example on the bayPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network which has pancake batter for lumes:
Well... looks like a Poor "Fish" or Rich "Pollo" must have got caught ! Found this in my eBay messages -- "Vintage UNIVERSAL GENEVE Valjoux 72 Manual Chronograph Diver just sold for $7,500.00."
Too small for me, but was curious what you guys think of its originality / authenticity: Ebay listing here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Gen...511609?hash=item465bb83cf9:g:1V4AAOSwt5hYbCysPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Nice enough piece (though no movement shot) signed crystal, but boy - those kind of prices hurt. It hasn't been that long since i've checked ebay (say, about 6 months). Is it me or have things been escalating rather quickly? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Uni...255726?hash=item4b0f5c51ee:g:iZIAAOSwUKxYbXMLPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
I have kinda been keeping an eye on these prices for the last couple months. SS with Black dials have gone up the most, between 25-50%. G filled/capped/plates only seem to be about 15-20% more and solid golds are about the same. (Note this is just a generalized observation, not statistical/calculated)
...says the man with some of the nicest Polerouters on this forum as well a sub and some sweet chronos! I, on the other hand, am a one-stringed fiddle gathering the low-rent dregs!
A lovely Jet. Am viewing on small screen, so cannot confirm selller's claim of original dial. Too good to be true or the real deal?
