Universal Geneve Tri-Compax Ref. 42406

Hey guys,

I recently got the chance to buy a lot of UG watches from an estate. Since I cant afford to keep them all, this Tri-Compax needs to go.

The watch has the reference 42406 which makes it one of the bigger Tri-Compax watches with 36.6mm size. The case is gold plated, the left bottom lug is a bit bended. The movement, a UG Cal. 287, is running strong (+45sec/day, 348° amplitude, 0.4ms beat error) but service history is unkown. All functions given, allthough the small pusher for the date is not working on every push. No idea whats normal for that movement.
The Dial is an old redial. Compared to newer ones the font is crisp and thin. That circumstance is considered in the price.
Pricewise I'd like to have 2.700€ obro. The watch is located in Germany, but shipping to all over the world is no problem.

Thanks for showing. Can't remember who the seller was, but he thinks the teardrop shaped markers are unique and the dial is rare to fine. For sure, its a Redial 😁
