Up for sale a lovely Universal Genève Tri-Compax in 18kt Gold

Reference is the most famous 12551.

USA President Truman wore a 18k yellow gold Universal Genève Tri-Compax at the Potsdam Conference in 1945, with this exact same reference, details on that on link below:

Watch is dated from 1945-46 based on serial number.

Solid gold case in very good condition, with visible gold hallmark, with 36mm in diameter, excluding the crown.

Dial is aged, but original, with some marks due to aging, but with a lovely nice patina.

I believe hands, calendar disks, including moonphase are original UG.

Hand wound movement reference is 287, it is working very well, all functions work perfectly.

The calendar function should not be adjusted between 09:00 PM and 3AM

Movement was serviced in 2018, and the watch has been barely used since them.
