·Dear OF,
I'm planning to keep only 1 polerouter in my collection (I had up to 7 at one point), and I've been slowly clearing out the ones that I don't wear as much.
This one is quite special, as it comes from @Mazoue and I hope with his permission, I'll use his pictures for the sales ad.
Taken from http://claremontvintage.com/shop/watches/ug_32/ ,
Ref H20217-4
Serial 1827527 (Circa 1956)
Dial: Black dial with gilt text and crosshair. Original lume plots and minute markers. Applied logo. Silver marker ring. Triangular lumed hands.
Case: 35.5mm. Huguenin Freres ‘HF’ stainless steel case. Bombe lugs. 19mm lug width. Signed crown. Case back with engraved logo and case reference and serial numbers.
Movement: Universal Geneve self-winding Cal 138ss ‘bumper’ movement
Condition/Notes: Rare original triangular hands seen only on later serials of this reference. Patina to dial.
Watch runs really well. Second hands starts moving the moment I wind it.
I'm asking for 1950 USD nett to me. I'll cover shipping. if you wish to work via paypal, please add 4.5% as the FX rates are horrible. Bankwire is fine too.
My reputation is more important to me than the sale, and this isn't an urgent sale per se. I'll be more than happy to keep this so low ballers please stay away.
Happy to hear offers, and hope that this great piece stays within the OF community.
