Hi,
I’m interested in this watch I found locally :
Pictures are awful but before going to see it, I wonder how hard it will be to find an original crown for a 869113?
Can’t seem to find at lying around…😅

they're not exactly growing on trees, but not one of the hardest to find either.

Any idea where to look beside eBay? 😀

In my experience, the crown for the ref. 869113 is incredibly rare because it was often used as a spare part for more famous 'Big Crown' models like the 204612, 20366, or 868108. While they look similar, the 869113 is unique because it has a 2.0mm stem tube (instead of 2.45mm) and an inverted logo.

Are there any « acceptable » compatible UG crowns? Or that 2 mm stem tube is a pain?

That's the one I was searching for for my 868108/2.

The crown stripped in service.

Did you end up finding one in the end?

Negative! I'm now trying to sell it cause I have another polerouter and there are too many other watches I'd like.

There was a watchmaker in France who was willing to try. Didn't want to hassle with customs over something I was going to eventually sell.

Anybody stateside you trust?

The logos are also inverted for the two crowns - fastest way to tell them apart.

Damn that’s a shame, I really had a good feeling about this watch but this issue makes it a no go :/

Hey!
Sorry to get back on that topic…
Let’s imagine that the dial and case (and bracelet) are excellent when having the watch in hand. What would be an acceptable price to offer despite the crown? Is a replacement ug crown, event if not the original, easier to find just to be able to wear the watch while waiting for the opportunity one day to find an original unicorn one? 😅
The seller is asking about 2k€ for now

Thanks 😀

Hi!
Thanks for your answer!
It’s a bit thinner than the original one (3.27mm thick for 5.6 in diameter). What is the tube’s size?
Would it work as a replacement? That could definitely work for me! 😀
