Universal Geneve FS, the "other” railway watch

Hello, fellow members of the Omega Forum,

I’m a new member of this website and would like to introduce myself to everyone. I’ve recently started collecting watches and have developed a deep passion for Universal Genève timepieces.

This is my first UG FS watch, which I purchased after reading and learning from this invaluable website. However, I still have some questions regarding my UG FS Mark 1. I noticed that the "Swiss Made" text appears slightly off-centered. Is this something I should be concerned about?

Also, should this model come with a tension ring? (If this model originally had one, based on the pictures I attached, is there a way to tell whether my watch has it or not?)

Looking forward to hearing your insights. Thanks in advance!

I wanted to share my two Universal Geneve FS Mk1 and Mk2.

I have to admit that I love the Mk1 more but its slightly too small for me. They are both flawless in my opinion. Is there even onother affordable enimal peace from that era? … possible open to trade my only true UG Love 😁
