As much as I enjoy this watch, I find myself not wearing it as often as I should and am hoping to see it go to a new home.

On offer is an early 1970s Universal Geneve "FS" Ferrovie dello Stato Mk 2 - issued to workers of the Italian state railway.

The story of these watches can be found at several places around the internet. Example:

The watch on offer is the "Mk 2" variant, with a 36mm cushion case manufactured between 1969 and 1974. Based on the serial number, I would place this watch probably in the latter half of that range.

Along with its history, the watch has a fantastic enamel dial with raised black lettering and unique cushion case design. It has its original Universal Geneve crown (with "U" engraving) and sharp edges as can be viewed in the photographs.

Watch comes with strap shown in the photo. It's keeping good vintage time but service history is unknown.

All photos have been taken in the last 24hrs with the exception of the movement photo.

Asking $850 net to me. Price includes shipping within the US. International shipping at buyer’s expense.

Please take a look at the photos, no returns unless watch not as represented.

Thank you Omegaforum for the space.
