Hello! I am completely new to this site and am looking for some advice. I have a watch that I’d like to sell and am hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
The watch is a Universal Geneve Compax model number 881101/03. Can anyone recommend any sites or pointers on how to get started with looking for a buyer?

Sell on one of the watch forums, although most require you to have a certain minimum # of posts first (like 200 here on OF). I think Watchyouseek is less.

But in the end eBay is probably your best bet.

To the OP: if you didn't know already, your watch is desired by collectors and may be much more valuable than you realise. I would do all your research before letting it go if you are fully committed to selling it.

Its a Tri Compax BTW. Its worth a pile o cash so don’t get talked into a low ball deal.

No disrespect intended to the owner, or those who’ve commented, but...my own two cents is that while “Exotic” Tri-Compax are special pieces, chasing this one isn’t for the faint of heart, or for anyone who isn’t prepared for a big “project”... Lugs look polished, bezel insert is pretty heavily scuffed up (and “strange” discoloration at the top of it...as if someone tried to mask damage with a black marker...), lume of hour hand is damged/cracked, dial isn’t pristine and I’m not sure if the crown is original. All these factors - and any we can’t see from just this one photo - would undoubtedly weigh on its value. And then add in the possibility/ likelihood of needing a big, and potentially very expensive service....Any potential buyer should tread very carefully...

...and it looks like the owner just cancelled a live listing for the watch on eBay (with multiple active bids...), presumably to sell it away. We shall never know unless it was to someone here.
