Universal Geneve ref 22223 Uni Compax. This reference is actually designated for Compur but for some reason most of them have a Uni Compax dial (this one has). Serial dates it to 1945.
CASE & CASEBACK: Very solid 3-piece steel case with screw in case back measures 33,5 mm wide not including crown. There are the usual marks from wear and a few scratches. The lugs are very thick. The case back has marks from wear and poor opening. Both reference and serial are crisp. Overall good vintage condition.
DIAL & HANDS: Nice and original (and quite rare tachymeter) dial in miles. All original dial text is crisp and legible. Above 6 o’clock marker: swiss. Some goose bumps around the edges of the indexes. Lume has some wear. Hands in nice condition.
CROWN & PUSHERS: Unmarked original crown and original pushers in nice condition.
CRYSTAL: Plexi without any major scratches.
MOVEMENT: Powering this watch is a Universal Geneve 281 movement, which is matching. Serviced in 2023 by a master watch maker. Invoice available. Movement picture is pre-service btw.
STRAP: Generic leather strap
ACCESSORIES: None (so what you see is what you get).
ASKING PRICE: EUR 2.500, which includes fully insured worldwide shipping by registered mail.
FURTHER REMARKS: Payment in euro. Bank wire strongly preferred. Paypal to be discussed but you pay fees. Personal delivery within reason.
