Anyone? Case is a bit rough looking, Any opinions?
I don't like it. The dial looks like it was refinished. Sub dials especially.
Not an expert on this model but case is polished down. Dial looked okay to my eye but I'd defer to @Larry S about the subdials. I can see the lining is a bit off on the top day dial. Wish you could see the Universal Font too.
Like everything else will depend on price..
Dial is original. Case has had a polish or two though.
Dial looks fine to me. Chrono reset not looking good on the hour subdial, and that chrono sweep hand looks whack. I don't have time this exact minute to reseach the chrono sweep originality, but if it is wrong, can be a bear to source.....
I think sweep is ok. What's troubling is the sub dials, but if LouS says OK that's good to go. Personally I am not a fan of this dial. Too busy for my taste.
Dial looks good to me, too.
I think the hands look OK, here is another 222100 with red sweep:
Dial is ok
There are different between 222100/1 and 222110/2-3
me too. dial looks fine. case is not as sharp as it should be.but hey, you cant have everything in life.
dial for comparison
Genlemen, Thank you for all the insight and help!
Did this reference has ever existed in black dial ?
What are the price range today for such nice piece ?
Based on my limited knowledge, still a very new collector of UGs, I don’t think so. Not for this particular reference it is usually a variation on the markers and tachymeter markings
Perhaps it’s the angle you took it but the dial seems to lack the vertical textured dial (brushing? I’m not quite sure what that finishing is called?) that @LouS and mine have. Could you confirm if it’s there?
No black dial for this ref ... realistic price range is between 8-12k€
The location of the numerals of the six o’clock subdial on OPs aren’t the same as in the examples from @LouS and @josephgsy.
That’s a great observation. In fact position of the numbers are different on all the subdials
Separate names with a comma.
