Universal Genève Uni-compax Carree On The 'bay

Rare Universal Carree chronograph with what looks like an even rarer original dial. These square chronogrpahs where a house specialty at UG. The reference number checks out against Sala, dated to 1947. Pity these aren't just a hair larger.

Honestly, these are are so rare with original dial that I have no idea how to value it. If anybody else wants to chime in, feel free.

According to the Antiquorum archives, this is a bargain

Lot 264, April 11, 1992 sold for 12650 CHF

Lot 15, April 9, 1994 sold for 16100 CHF

No recent price data, however, and a difficult size
