Unidentified vintage Chrono movement…can you ID?

Hello I have a beautiful little vintage Harman chronograph and am trying to identify the maker of the movement. It has a Harman bridge along with a small insignia. It is also marked HXF.

Can anyone tell me anything about who made this movement (or is it in-house Harman)? Thanks very much in advance.

It would help if there were an in-focus photo showing the whole movement at once. And if you can post the diameter in lignes, that would also be useful. That said, I'm going to guess Valjoux 23.

Thanks Dan. Case diameter is ~32mm, I don’t have the skill to remove the movement.

Valjoux 23 has a 45 minute register and this one has a 30 minute one if i see correctly. So a Valjoux 22 then ?

It's not a V22, totally wrong balance cock. Valjoux 23 can certainly have a 30-minute register, in fact that is typical IMO.

However, 32mm is too big for a Valjoux 23 if that's the correct size. It's a 13 lignes movement, so about 29mm.

I think you've identified it! Thanks very much, Dan.

I suspect the size given may have included the case? Easy to do when all of this is a bit new 😀
