Hi Guys,

I noticed a few posts lately asking questions about time keeping - what’s acceptable, etc. I decided to make this video which discusses the numbers on a machine, timing tolerances, amplitude etc - including Omega specifications for timing, in this case specifically the 55x series movements. Hope you enjoy!

Novice question but for someone looking to purchase a timing machine (timegrapher?) what would be a good entry one? What would be a mid level etc...?

Thank you so much!

I know that Weishi are quite popular amongst enthusiasts and even some watch repairers. They are relatively simple. I’ve never actually compared them to a Swiss made machine so don’t know what kind of accuracy they offer. I’m assuming it can’t be too terrible.
