A few models that you could find in excellent original condition maybe 2-3x a year 3-4 years ago that have all but dried up today.

    Black dial waffle constellations
RAF '53 with TA dials (even those with dial replacements from the Bienne stock)
35.5 snapback and 35mm screwback manual wind chronometres

There are probably a few others but these 3 come to mind pretty quickly.

Those references aren't really that popular lately, depressing prices. With prices down, there just aren't many on offer. A shame really.

If anyone is looking to unload a few, drop me a PM. I'll be more than happy to pay what these were fetching a few years ago, when they were more in vogue with collectors. :)

Ok here's a couple I haven't seen since I got them about 5-6 years ago. 18k YG ref. 2648 with cal. 352; the bracelet is solid gold which while not branded omega I believe originally came with the watch when it was originally sold:

And a screwback 18k YG ref. 2652 also with cal. 352:

An interesting point here is the dials are NOT the same - the 2648 dial is about 2mm larger and has different markers and numbers (including no luminous).

I'd like to get a crisp case for this, but at this point I consider myself lucky just to have this. Full arrowheads would be better, but even harder to find.

If anyone wants to change this trend, I'd be willing to buy one... or so.

Real beauties all of them

I am also fortunate enough to have a 2648 guilloche dial, but with a calibre 354.

Ok, we've got some pretty mean threads on this forum.... classics like 'my bank doesn't have a safety deposit box big enough' and 'the immigrant workers I pay to keep all my moonphases wound are helping the global economy' and 'boo hoo, this incredibly rare watch I found at a school fête and swapped for an ice cream appears to have a replacement strap' but isn't one that's basically 'look at all these great watches I have and you lot can't get' really rubbing it in?
