··Never Used A KodakDear members, a few days ago a new member was asking about the legitimacy (I spelled this right the first time) of a Rolex sold on the Watches to Buy website.
I had never bought from this site but started to look at the selection and found that he has several Omega fold overs (clasps?) for sale.
I have the FOIS and started with a Forstner flat link. It is beautiful but I wear the watch a lot and the spring(s) broke within a few months. In fairness to the company, I was offered a replacement without questions (on this Forum).
I instead opted for the Uncle Seiko (I think it’s called President, see photos). Now that bracelet, although not as pretty as the flat link, feels super solid. I love it.
I bought one of the clasps from the Watchestobuy website. It fits perfectly on my Uncle Seiko. Do I call it a Franken bracelet now?
PS: I am certain that other members have added an Omega clasp to their modern bracelet… but if you are currently looking for one, Derek at Watchestobuy has 8 left.
I am not affiliated to him in any way.
