·I like my 311.30.44.51.01.002 … but in the reviews some people already feel that is too big / thick (44.25/16.5mm).
I borrowed a Breitling emergency a few years back to compare.... Unless you are Arnold Schwarzenegger or a proper adventurer I would say hard to rock watches like that. I think 44/16 is probably my limit (aside from the Ploprof maybe). Still the Ultra Deep is a amazing achievement and I do like the watch.
Hey at least when you have an emergency you can take that off your wrist and use it to club small animals for food! Good lord that is big.

·Ref larger dive watches back in 2017 I did also toy with a 45mm Seamaster (deep Blue I think) – only 1mm in it compared to my ceramic speedmaster but it was just Sooo much larger / chunky. I think the black finish, contrast polishing and familiar Speedmaster aesthetic makes the 44mm DSOTM wear a lot smaller – I really enjoy the watch and like the scratch resistance + the duel time option.
The deep back/blue ceramic was a step too far for me. Also this post reminded me all the ranges and options are still a bit confusing. Maybe the larger 45mm ceramic concept works better as a Chrono / with the diver orange colour scheme ? – but again you need to see it in the flesh I would say. I do like many of the plant Oceans / need to try some of the stainless options maybe.

·I actually can’t remember the actual weight specs, but it was amazingly light for it’s massive size. I believe the plastic was for display purposes, but not completely sure. This was a really cool piece (the X3) to see in person and the most important of the ones they made (read the plaque in picture one)

I read it is rated for 15000m … it needs to be big for all the zeros - just in case they ever print that on the dial. I imagine the price had a few zeros as well ...
