    Hi Froum

that’s the second time I receive an email form Oméga with the Ultra Deep story, I have to be Clear if this watch will be for sale I really love to buy it, I collect I would say special not common Oméga , definitively i am out of the speedmasters ( even I had the 50th anniversary bought last year) took me more time to decide buying it, than if the Ultra Deep Was for sale.

just want to know if any fellow member of the forum like feel the same for the Ultra deep.

    Paul

This watch is not for sale and will never be (at least in this iteration). Have you seen its actual size compared to lets say, a human wrist?

Maybe they might release a smaller version with the Manta lugs soon. I'm already rocking the thickest PO at ~20mm and it's crazy. I can't imagine what 28mm would be like

not that big of a deal getting the watch to 11 km deep. The trick is having it still work when it gets back up! ;)

I love the blue accents and the matte finish on the bezel insert. If these features came up on something a little more 'wearer friendly', it's definitely a watch I'd be keen to add to the collection. Even as it is, I'd be tempted, if the price wasn't too crazy!

I think the trick will also be finding a human wrist to go down that far and come back up. I believe the record is 332 meters. But just in case I ever need to go deeper than any human could ever physically go, I’ll be prepared with a casual 28mm tall watch on my wrist

Really? Who in the marketing department came up with this one? Sounds like the title of a porn film...

I like my 311.30.44.51.01.002 … but in the reviews some people already feel that is too big / thick (44.25/16.5mm).
I borrowed a Breitling emergency a few years back to compare.... Unless you are Arnold Schwarzenegger or a proper adventurer I would say hard to rock watches like that. I think 44/16 is probably my limit (aside from the Ploprof maybe). Still the Ultra Deep is a amazing achievement and I do like the watch.

I like the matte look with the blue accents too and in the right sized Seamaster it could look really good, but the Ultra Deep is a huge beast.

This is about the maximum I'm ok with, 50mm Seiko 6159 600m diver and sits quite high on the wrist too

Wow, waaaaasy too thick for me. I tried a Rolex DSSD and even that was too tall on the wrist for my taste. The Ultra Deep is a watch that would wear you instead of you wearing it. But I love the color palate and would jump at a normal Seamaster in those colors.

Every arm I’ve seen it on so far looks like it actually is undersized. Here look at this, the arm looks really massive compared to the watch...

In that last photo it looks like the Breitling is doing bad prison things to your Omega :cautious:.

I had never realised how huge the Emergency is. That's crossed off my list now - no way I could get away with that unless I put it around my ankle.
