Ebay, any thoughts? It's a plain one but to me does not look to bad. No idea of what these are worth or what a service would be. http://www.ebay.com/itm/290806020955?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Servicing isn't any different in cost than a lower beat caliber, it's just a different lubricant needed in the escapement. "Watch does tick but sold as found, not running." is always a gamble. Might simply need a service, might need parts. If it's only a service it's worth the asking price.
Kind of what I was thinking, SS C case with no band. Rather low on the totem pole as an Ultra Chron I would assume. Great place for the rotor in the picture.. Can't see the serial number. I would guess 69 or 70 as it does look like a calibre 431. Will watch it, but no bids does say quite a bit. The Zodiac SST 36000bph is the same cost to service as any other with the same complications, but Longines I do not really know other than Dad liked them. Thanks for the advice
I was looking at it in the opening $150 range, when it went for more than the buy it now... Someone wanted much much more so than I. There will always be others.
