I’m guessing a lot of folk have seen this. It appeared yesterday (12 January 2021) in GQ. Adrian Hailwood published a feature article on the Longines Ultra-Chron, calling it ‘the pinnacle of 1960s watchmaking’. Here’s a link if you’re interested and haven’t already clocked it. Is this the next widespread wave of Longines collectibility?

@Hijak has beat anyone to the punch, having a few nice models IIRC.

The C-case is my preferred Ultra-Chron
This is the above mentioned members and he’s other type is even better

I seem to have a very strong ability to collect watches and then only sell those that eventually start to gain in value.

I remember having an ultrachron and then thinking it was too thin and light. When I look back now - it really was a remarkable piece of watchmaking for its time.

I guess they are still affordable.

@STANDY - the condition of that Ultra chron is really remarkable.
