I just stumbled across this Ukrainian seller on Ebay, I think I saw on one of the listings the city of Zaporijia being mentioned.
Anyhow I just decided to buy a watch, a bit at random, and to tell him/ her to keep it— just another way of helping out.

Over the last few years, I bought a couple watches from sellers in the Ukraine. Had an issue on one of them but the seller handled it promptly.

FWIW, I bought a Canali blazer from a Ukrainian eBay seller last month, didn’t realize it until after I had purchased it. No problem with shipping (amazingly), but I feel a bit strange whenever I wear it.

So both packages have now arrived,
I had told the lady from Odessa she didn’t need to send me anything and could keep the money, she sent chocolate and ukrainian flag and button.

The other package from Zaporijia is my first Vostok watch, a bit strange for me to operate, but ai finally figured it out. The dial has a real patina to it, does’t look like the usual 1980s stuff.

Thanks for sharing @Syrte. What a good idea. I have a Luch Watch and original painting that I bought from Ukraine prewar. Both sellers are no longer online. I hope that they are still OK.

Thats one seriously cool dial. it has everything from patina to aircraft and a very soviet vintage look.
