Does anybody know a quality uk re-lumer for Speedies. Given up on the Alchemist after numerous attempts to get a communication.
Otherwise it’s a flight to Dusseldorf. I want to sit with the artist and discuss colour tone options etc.

I can only say I’ve never had an issue with Alchemist Relumer and his work is world class.

I doubt many would be open to you visiting face to face to discuss. Most do business via email/insta and post.

Exactly. Look for example watches you like and give them as a blue print. Works allways great and James (The Alchimist) will do what you want. For a face to face meeting go to a watchmaker...and get a disappointing result in the end.

It’s just odd that I have e-mailed, texted and What’s App over a month with no reply from James.
Which is why I asked for any recommendations of U.K. alternatives. Otherwise it’s a trip to Düsseldorf

Do you have my WhatsApp number?

My email has been sporadic for a number of years due to trying to block the amount of spam I get, it’s a nightmare tbh, which has resulted in lots of genuine emails not coming through.

I get a lot of enquires and it’s difficult to keep on top of them all otherwise I’d just be answering messages all day and not be able to do any actual work.

I rarely have the time to visit watch forums and converse like the good days but I’m always around and willing to help when I can,

Pleased to read that. I got 2y ago precious free advices from James about some doubt on tritium from a GMT. As a specialist of relume, he is also a big specialist of original lume...👍

James cobfirmed receipt of parts . And now im in the diary waiting for his magic on my relume.
Have the obligitary before pictures and will update when returned

So today recieved back my watchface and hands from James and it will come as no suprise to anyone who has dealt with him before that the result he has produced is amazing.

He sent me a photo of the finished watchface and hands before sending back but the result is even better in the real.

It was my first time dealing with james and it certainly will not be the last.

of course, I will but it will be a few months yet, i only dropped off the watch in January and its normally at least 6 months till they complete
