She should just come out and admit that it's a counterfeit. Lesser of two evils.

A while back an FBI or Secret Service agent had his Rolex, Pistol and pride stolen by a prostitute.

I am not defending his actions, far from it, but criticizing someone because they have a Rolex is an over reaction.

Folks have different financial priorities based on their unique situation. Lots of kids vs no kids, inheritance, marital status, what I call “money in law”, spending habits, and many others.

And it might have been his only watch.

Or his only prostitute

It’s on the Daily Mail - so written to generate outrage and hate and sharing and ad revenue.

Nothing on that site gets close to what any sensible person would class as news. 😗

Envy politics isn't really politics and envy isn't what gets a country out of a mess: we Brits know where we stand with our politicians.

its certainly what got us into a mess. Along with disinformation and nonsense on a scale that’s hard to comprehend.

I’d also add, the issue isn’t that she’s wearing a £10k Rolex - it’s that she’s a deplorable human being working with a bunch of other deplorable human beings.

I would expect the Health Secretary to get involved with nurses, not the Education Secretary. For her defense, many UK college professors wear Rolexes so why not the Secretary of Education? And besides, she's not wearing a Rainbow Daytona or anything like that.

Fred, Didn’t you say that this sign was just down the street from your place in Florida? 😁

Yea maybe, but that was, like, yesterday.

Not a single tear was shed for those underpaid healthcare workers… bunch of savages here lol. I wonder if the case on that thing was ever polished…

Everyone on this forum would assume that the nurses are just irresponsibly blowing their savings on watches...

Perhaps not a good comparison but if time allows I watch C-SPAN (they have great history book reviews) and also show going on in the senate or if there is an interesting subcommittee asking questions but I always try to pick out watches although smart watches are common I see plenty of very nice watches on both sides I really find it a non issue. Although the smart watch on one wrist and omega or greater on the other should be grounds for impeachment, pick a side.

If I had a nickel for every time a politician/public official said something stupid while wearing a nice watch I think I'd probably have enough money to buy a 31mm Everose Lady DateJust.

Biden caught flak for the blue DJ he was wearing on his inaugural as being flashy. It’s a $6k watch, Donnie’s watch collection (although very dated) never caught criticism and he has some heavy hitters.

Funny Biden got flak for his DJ. I wasn't aware. Nobody had to point at Donnie's watch, he literally told us 1000 times whenever he got the chance that he's rich. BILLIONS.

That's ridiculous. She has every right to wear a Rolex.

Sure she does, it’s just everything else that her and her party say and do that’s an issue.

Sunak, who has personal wealth of over £700million probably has lots of much more expensive watches he’s just not worn any in public and been photographed… yet.

Don't know... he seems like an apple watch kind of guy to me. I hope I'm wrong and he's rocking MB&F when he's not in public.
