I'm not sure it's fair to ask for help here but then remove the pics once your fears were confirmed and list on eBay (without reference to a redial).

I'm certain that it's unfair. I really like Polerouters and would like to add one to the menagerie one day. I'd like to put in more time studying originality and also to read comment by the knowledgeable about such things. I got into this thread for that reason.

Even to my uneducated eye, the Ebay crop of Polerouters have gotten worse and worse in quality and condition all while prices become ever more inflated for what is bottom-of-the-barrel material.

I recently sold mine and don’t miss it. When I bought it I thought it was going to be a keeper but although I liked the design and history, and the fact mine was all original I sold after a yr. I should note that it did despite the condition, the hype and fair pricing take a while to sell.
